Laurie + MaryJane is a family-owned and operated business, providing high-quality, reliable edibles for the cannabis community since 2014. The company’s award-winning products are handcrafted and rigorously tested to ensure delicious and consistently dosed baked goods for the Oregon community. The company's founder, Laurie Wolf, named "the Martha Stewart of Marijuana Edibles" by The New Yorker, is an advocate in the edible community, four-time cannabis cookbook author, and contributor to several popular cannabis publications.
We believe our baked goods are only as good as the ingredients that go into them. From European butter to organic, fair-trade chocolate, you can taste the quality of our ingredients in every bite. Starting with full-spectrum cannabis infusions. All Laurie + MaryJane products are made with full-spectrum coconut oil. We start with premium sungrown maryjane and infuse it directly into certified organic, non-GMO coconut oil. This full-spectrum infusion technique is not only clean and solvent-free, it produces edibles that create a more robust experience.
When we say “Full Spectrum” oil, we are talking about a cannabis infusion that retains the full range of compounds (i.e. terpenes, cannabinoids, flavinoids) found naturally within the plant, as opposed to an isolate or distillate that refines and strips the material to produce single compound (THC) extracts. The full spectrum of these terpenes, cannabinoids in cannabis work together to magnify the therapeutic benefits of each individual compound. This results in what is commonly referred to as the “The Entourage Effect,” where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. By crafting a full-spectrum infusion, Laurie + MaryJane produces an incredibly clean, full-bodied experience with all the benefits cannabis has to offer.
Laurie Wolf, Founder
Laurie Wolf is a leader in the edible community and an award-winning culinary entrepreneur. Since 2015, Laurie has published four cannabis cookbooks: HERB, Cooking with Cannabis, Marijuana Edibles, and The Medical Marijuana Dispensary. Her recipes fill the pages of several top cannabis publications such as The Cannabist, Cannabis Now, Dope Magazine, Culture, Oregon Leaf, and High Times as well as The Oregonian, and soon, the San Francisco Chronicle. From soup to nuts, Laurie delivers a wide range of cannabis-infused recipe options, as well as detailing techniques for at-home infusions. Her brownie recipe on The Cannabist won Leafly’s Brownie Bracket challenge, naming it "the absolute best cannabis brownie recipe of all time."
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Laurie worked in New York as a chef, caterer, food stylist, and food editor at Mademoiselle and Child. After moving to Oregon in 2008, Laurie published Food Lovers' Guide to Portland, Oregon, Food Lovers' Guide to Seattle, and Portland, Oregon Chef's Table: Extraordinary Recipes From The City Of Roses. Laurie sought to leverage her experience from the food world to produce high quality edibles for cannabis patients like herself. She founded Laurie + MaryJane in 2014 to serve Oregon’s medical marijuana community after she herself successfully managed a seizure disorder with cannabis. In The Medical Marijuana Dispensary, co-authored with business partner and daughter-in-law Mary Wolf, Laurie and Mary present an overview of the medicinal uses of marijuana for the growing community of people interested in exploring its effects and benefits.
